Andre'a Dorsey, Ph.D, MPA

Andre'a Dorsey, Ph.D., MPA, is an educator, creative leadership practitioner, author, consultant, and community advocate committed to helping people recognize their potential, strengthen their leadership capacity, and create positive change. As Secretary and a Director of Omni Ignited Inc., she brings experience in educational leadership, organizational development, governance, and youth and women's empowerment to support the organization's mission of igniting purpose, leadership, education, and opportunity in youth, families, and communities.

Dr. Dorsey serves as an Assistant Professor of Education & Leadership Studies and Program Director of the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership at the University of the Virgin Islands. She is also the CEO and Senior Consultant of Blue Skies Empowerment Enterprises. Her work emphasizes leadership development, creative problem-solving, educational achievement, innovation, and intentional change. She earned a bachelor's degree in Biology, a master's degree in Education Counselling and Public Administration, and a Ph.D. in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change with a certification in creative and change leadership.

Dr. Dorsey's commitment to empowerment extends deeply into nonprofit and community service. She serves as President of Sisters As Agents of Change, Inc., which provides personal and professional development opportunities for at-risk youths from junior high through college, and she has developed empowerment initiatives. She is also the author of publications focused on purpose, creativity, and teaching problem-solving skills to youth. Through Omni Ignited, Dr. Dorsey applies her academic leadership, nonprofit service, and creative problem-solving expertise to strengthen governance, support meaningful programs, and help young people and communities build confidence, resilience, and capacity for positive change.
